Guiding the next generation of travellers

Project overview

Yond, a social, trip-planning app, was looking to disrupt the travel sector by bridging the gap between travel inspiration and making reservations. The app allows you to gather holiday inspiration from across social platforms and transform this into your perfect trip, complete with curated hotels and experiences.

Looking to target a younger generation, we crafted an energetic brand, combining playful illustrations with a bold graphic style that can be seamlessly applied across brand outputs, from eye-catching, out-of-home applications to conceptualising the app design. The Yond logo combines bold, condensed typography with a compass motif to form a bouncy, dynamic mark, reminiscent of luggage stickers.

Our brand illustrations feature a set of curious characters, exploring a range of destinations across different biomes. These characters pop-up across the brand, playfully appearing alongside photography and interacting with the real world to create ownable assets and acting as a signature mark across digital and print outputs.

The outcome is a vibrant brand with a bold personality to appeal to curious travellers and the next generation of explorers.
